Policy on Systematic Review Submissions

2025-10-30

Dear Authors and Researchers,

Starting from the publication year 2026, the International Journal of Education and Teaching Zone (IJETZ) will no longer accept or process manuscripts categorized as “Systematic Reviews” or similar literature-based studies.

This decision is made to maintain the journal’s focus on original empirical research, experimental studies, and innovative model development that directly contribute to educational practice and theory.

Many submissions labeled as systematic reviews have been found to lack methodological rigor, follow-up data validation, or synthesis aligned with PRISMA standards, resulting in limited scientific contribution. Therefore, to ensure publication quality and relevance, IJETZ will prioritize:

  • Empirical studies based on quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods research.

  • Experimental or quasi-experimental studies with measurable educational outcomes.

  • Developmental research (R&D) involving innovative learning models or assessment systems.

Authors are advised to review the updated Author Guidelines (2026 Edition) before submission.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support in advancing quality research and publication ethics.

With best regards,
Dr. Fauzan Sulman, S.Pd. M.Pd
Editor-in-Chief
