Tuesday, 19 July 2024, is the anniversary of the IJETZ journal, which is 2 years old where the 2-year-old International Journal of Education and Teaching Zone is based on SK e-ISSN (Online Version), with SK ISSN Number: 0005.28307925/K.4/SK.ISSN/2022.07. The journal runs regularly and consistently by established and determined rules

On July 11, 2024, the International Journal of Education and Teaching Zone (IJETZ) submitted the journal for indexing to Scopus.


 


(17). July 10, 2024 (License Agreement From EBSCO)


The Agreement is made and executed by and between EBSCO Publishing, Inc., whose principal place of business is at 10 Estes Street, Ipswich, Massachusetts, 01938-0682, USA (“EP”) and International Journal of Education & Teaching Zone, with its principal place of business at Jl. Bunga Tanjung, Sitinjau Laut District, Kerinci Regency, Jambi Province, Indonesia (“Licensor”). This agreement legally shows that the IJETZ journal has been indexed by EBSCO

To improve the quality of journals, more specific and strict journal screening is required, so that based on deliberation and consideration of the editorial board in improving the quality of articles and at the same time adapting to the number of reviewers, a decision is made where articles for publication starting in 2024 will be limited to a maximum 10 Articles.

On February 2 2023, Volume 2 issue 1 was published, which is the second edition available online, for the regular edition Vol 2 Issue 1 (February 2023). All articles in this edition (16 original research articles) were written/co-authored by 54 authors from 3 countries (Indonesia, Philippines, USA) with various affiliations.

Analysis Meeting on the Naming of Volumes and Issues for Publication in 2023. This meeting was held because there were differences of opinion and views regarding the naming of volumes and issues in 2023. The differences in views occurred because several editors stated that for 2023, especially February, it would be Volume 1, Issue 3, considering that the e-ISSN SK has a publication frequency of 4 monthly. There is also a different editorial view which states that in the new year, the name of the new volume is written, namely volume 2 because the article was published in 1 year, namely in February, June, and October, in 2023 this view would be better to rewrite it in volume 2 issue 1 to be precise in February. 2023. Based on a joint editorial decision for 2023, the title of volume 2 of issue 1 was made. Articles are still published periodically according to the frequency stated on e-ISSN, namely 4 monthly (3 times in 1 year). This naming process is a difference of opinion regarding naming only, but articles are still published regularly and consistently based on the e-ISSN provided, namely with a publication frequency of 4 monthly so as to maintain consistency and regularity.

On October 8 2022, the article for volume 1 Issue 2 was published. This edition is the first edition with issue 2 which is available online, for the regular edition Vol 1 Issue 2 (October 2022). All articles in this edition (16 original research articles) were written/co-authored by 45 authors from 3 countries (Indonesia, Ghana, USA) with various affiliations.

The International Journal of Education and Teaching Zone received p-ISSN: 2963-7899 (print), with SK ISSN number: 0005.29637899/K.4/SK.ISSN/2022.09. At the same time, it is stated that the effective publication of Volume 1 Issue 1 is June 2022, with a publication frequency of 4 monthly (3 times a year), namely February, June, and October. Because Volume 1 Issue 1 was published in June, the naming and numbering are still based on the publication frequency, namely 4 monthly and carried out continuously.

On January 16, 2022, the Nurul Foundation is sure that Bunga Tanjung will become the publisher that oversees the IJETZ journal. The Nurul Yakin Bunga Tanjung Foundation was used because the process of establishing a journal requires an institution that has a legal basis, so from the results of discussions, the IJETZ journal collaborated with the Nurul Yakin Bunga Tanjung Foundation as a shelter (in this case as a publisher). The Nurul Yakin Bunga Tanjung Foundation was founded in 2014 based on the Decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights Number AHU-09615.50.10.2014 concerning the Ratification of the Establishment of the Legal Entity of the Nurul Yakin Bunga Tanjung Foundation which was founded by Drs. M. Sulup who is the father of the founder of the IJETZ Journal, namely Fauan Sulman, S.Pd., M.Pd. The Nurul Yakin Bunga Tanjung Foundation is an institution that was initially formed to accommodate a private school in the Kerinci district, namely MIS NO. 34/E.3 Bunga Tanjung. Then, a department was formed at the foundation, namely the Journal Development Institute, chaired by Fauzan Sulman, S.Pd., M.Pd.

Fauzan Sulman, S.Pd., M.Pd is the initiator and facilitator of the creation of an international journal which is now called the International Journal of Education and Teaching Zone, abbreviated as IJETZ. The IJETZ Journal was founded together with several Editorials and Reviewers from various countries, based on the same view, namely the need for a publication forum, especially in the field of education and teaching, as a place for research information, especially in the field of education and teaching, so that it can become a means of sharing information to build quality education. And have equality throughout the world without distinction of race, culture, and religion. The focus of this journal discusses education and teaching problems in all parts of the world, especially in the world of education in outermost and disadvantaged communities. The IJETZ Journal provides the opportunity to receive articles related to education and teaching from research results ranging from preparatory, primary school, university, or non-school education levels. The scope of the IJETZ Journal includes Mathematics and Science Education, Social Sciences Education, Physical and Health Education, Language Education, Early Childhood Education, Education for Children with Special Needs, Guidance and Counseling Education, and other educational fields in the world.
