Post-Publication Discussion
The International Journal of Education and Teaching Zone (IJETZ) encourages scholarly dialogue, constructive criticism, and the exchange of evidence-based perspectives on published research. Post-publication discussion provides an opportunity for readers, researchers, and other members of the academic community to engage critically with published articles and contribute to the continued development of knowledge in education and related fields.
Readers wishing to comment on or discuss a published article may contact the IJETZ Editorial Office through the official communication channels provided on the journal website. All comments must be relevant to the article under discussion, provide a substantive academic contribution, and be supported by appropriate scholarly evidence and reasoning. Comments must maintain a professional, respectful, and constructive tone and must not contain personal attacks, discriminatory language, or defamatory statements.
To promote balanced and transparent academic dialogue, the Editorial Team may invite the original authors to respond to comments concerning their published work. Authors' responses should address the substantive issues raised and provide clear, evidence-based explanations. Where appropriate, the journal may publish an accepted comment together with the authors' response or as a separate contribution, subject to editorial assessment and the journal's applicable publication policies.
All submitted comments and responses are subject to editorial evaluation. The Editorial Team may decline, request revisions to, or accept a contribution based on its academic relevance, factual accuracy, scholarly value, ethical considerations, and compliance with the journal's editorial standards. Publication of a comment or response does not necessarily imply endorsement of its arguments by IJETZ.
If a post-publication discussion identifies potential errors, omissions, concerns regarding research methodology, or possible breaches of publication ethics that may affect the reliability or integrity of a published article, the Editorial Team will assess the matter in accordance with IJETZ's publication ethics policies and relevant guidance from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Depending on the nature and seriousness of the concern, the journal may publish a Correction, an Expression of Concern, or a Retraction, where justified. Appropriate follow-up action will be taken to maintain the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of the scholarly record.
Post-publication discussion serves as a forum for academic exchange and critical evaluation. It does not replace the journal's formal procedures for investigating allegations of research misconduct or other serious publication ethics concerns.
